Frédéric and Étienne are two childhood friends. Launching their kayaks in the waters of BC, they paddled up the inner passage of Alaska to the climb the highest coastal mountain in the world, Mount Fairweather (4,663 m).
After 1,200 km of kayaking, they finally see the giant. However, the rough ocean forces them to continue their route on foot in a land populated by grizzlies. Higher up, climatic changes force them to adapt their project and their vision of risk.
